Mrs. Jennie French and Miss Alice entertained at a dinner on Sunday in observance of the j birthday anniversary of Mrs. French. Each auxiliary member is to bring a guest. A blind auction sale will be held and all are asked to bring arti cles for the sale. After the busi ness meeting a no host lunch was served, A miscellaneous shower was held at the Frank Beelaert home Wednesday evening, April 16, for Mrs. Melvin Fischer, of Wakefield, a recent bride. The WSCS met Thursday af ternoon in the Methodist church parlors with 25 present. Mrs. Raymond Heiss had charge of the business meeting. Mrs. Harry Harper led the devotions and gave the lesson. Hostesses were Mrs. Emma Dorr, Mrs. Herbert Steinberg and Mrs. Harold Heiss. The next meeting will be May 1 with a breakfast at the church parlors.
