Rev. V. R. Bell officiated at the double-ring rites. Given in marriage by her fa ther, the bride wore a white sat in gown with a lace yoke and a long train. Her veil, which was lace trimmed net, was waist length. The bridegroom’s sister, Miss Nina Prouty, was the bridesmaid. She was dressed in a formal gown of orchid. Marlin Luber, of O’Neill, was the bestman. Mrs. Donald Loy sang “I Love You Truly” and “Because,” ac companied at the piano by Mrs. Howard Manson. Mrs. Forrest Riley had charge of the guest book. A reception was held in the church parlor following the cer emony. Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Prouty, of Spen cer; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Prouty and family, of Superior, Kans., and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Prouty and family, of Yankton, S.D. Attends Convention— Mrs. Elma Evans attended a convention on February 16, 17 and 18 at the Fontanelle hotel, Omaha. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Price, of Bristow, visited at the L. B. Price home on Sunday and Mrs. Price went on to Omaha where she attended the conven tion w 'll hei r.other, Mrs. Ev ans. They both returned to O’ Neill on Monday evening. Patriotic Theme— The Rebekah lodge held a meeting on Friday, February 15, at the IOOF hall. There were 21 members present. There was a short patriotic program and the tables were decorated in the pa triotic theme. Mrs. Esther Cole Harris, Mrs. Ethel Harmon and Mrs. Mabel Harmon were on the serving committee. Mission Slides Shown— Wesleyan Service guild met on Monday, February 18, at the home of Mrs. J. L. Sherbahn. Slides of the Indian mission school at Houma, Loua, were shown. Men's Group Meets— The Presbyterian men held a 12 o’clock luncheon on Wednes day, February 13, at the M&M cafe followed by a business meet ing. 9FF in Session— The 9FF club met on Wednes day, February 20, with a 7 o’ clock dinner at the M&M cafe. Bridge followed the dinner at the home of Mrs. Earl Rodman. Mrs. Kruse Hostess— Mrs. H. G. Kruse entertained the MM club at her home on Wednesday, February 20. Golden Keys in Session — The Golden Keys club came to order on Friday, February 15. The president, Jerry Schaaf, asked the secretary to read the roll call. The club is going to take up a new project. This week we answered the roll call with our favorite bird. Next week we will answer with our favorite project. Mike Schaaf gave a report on a show. Ronald Murphy will give a re port on a show he has seen. Marks 5th Birthday — Sandra Kay Coenen celebrated her 5th birthday aniversary on Wednesday, February 13, with Linda and Kyle Peterson as guests. Sandra Kay is the daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Coe nen. Mrs. Coenen served re freshments consisting of jello, cake and koolade.
