bridge, Mrs. Arthur Kropp in pi
nochle, and Mrs. Arthur Spittler
in pitch. Refreshments were
served by the hostess, assisted by

Mrs. Bertha Urban came home
Saturday, February 9, after spend
ing some time at Omaha and Bur
well.
Sunday, February 10, was a spe
cial day at the Robley Sisson, sr.,
home when Mrs. Sisson and son,
Gene, both celebrating birthday
anniversaries this month, were
the honored guests at a turkey
dinner. Not only the birthdays
were of special interest. This
was the first occasion over a long
period of time that Mr. and Mrs.
Sisson had their 8 sons together,
als a grandson. They are: Robley,
jr., Bill, who was recently dis
charged from the navy, Dana,
Jack, Gene, Jerry, Tom, Ronnie
and the grandson, Robley III. The
Sissons have 2 daughters, Marcel
la, who is a senior in high school,
and Mrs. Leonard Sorenson, of
Omaha. Mrs. Mary Snyder,
mother of Mrs. Sisson, who makes
her home with them, joined in
the event.

LYNCH—An amateur contest
sponsored by the Lynch American
Legion auxiliary is planned for
Tuesday, March 4, at the Lynch
Legion hall.
Three cash prizes will be given.
