Re turn to Jack Bailey, jr. 41p35 Spring About Here— Benches Dusted-Off ATKINSON — A reliable har binger of spring is the annual dust-off of blue, pink and green park benches as they are hauled out of storage and placed at stra tegic points along the streets. Springlike weather during the past week induced residents to exploit the benches to the fullest. The benches along Atkinson's streets pose a traditional sight —homey, too. Folks alight there to wail for a wife or husband or to meet the family car. There are some objectors to the benches but the usefulness of the benches is almost universally ac cepted. In winter months folks linger on lines of chairs found inside some of the stores. — Other Atkinson News ATKINSON—Mr. and Mrs. Leo Adams drove to Grand Island Sunday, February 10. to visit their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Turner, and son.
