—Frontier Engraving MISS FROELICH'S ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED ... Mr. and Mrs. William J. Froelich have announced the engagement of their daughter. Miss Nancy, to John Robert Berigan, son of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Berigan, of Atkinson. Miss Froelich, who attended Barat college, Lake Forest, 111., for 2 years, is a senior at Duchesne cod lege, Omaha. She was a countess in the 1950 court of Ak-Sar-Ben. Mr. Berigan, who attended St. Louis university, St. Louis, Mo., is now a senior at Creighton university, Omaha. No date has been set for the wedding. s Jacquelyn Hand a Ewine Bride EWING — Miss Jacqueline Hand, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. F. A. Hand, of Ewing, became the bride of Dale E. Reiter, of El gin, at a* candlelight ceremony solemnized Thursday evening, January 3, at 7 o’clock at the Riversiae Free Methodist church. The ceremony was performed by the bride’s father, Rev. F. A. Hand. Before the ceremony Miss Al tha Lou Miller sang, “Because” and “I Love You Truly," accom panied by Mrs. F. A. Hand, who also played the wedding march. The bride was given in mar riage by her brother, Walter, and appeared in a navy blue suit with a corsage of American beau ty rosebuds. MiSs Evelyn Rur ede, attendant of the bride, wore a navy blue suit with a corsage of white carnations. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Joe Reiter, of Elgin. Mrs. Reiter is a graduate of the Ewing high Bchool. She was telephone operator at Ewing be fore beginning her teaching ca reer. Mr. Reiter graduated from the Bartlet high school. He served 3 years in World War II. After the ceremony, the couple left for a short honeymoon after which the bride will finish her school term near Elgin. ACWC Members _ Entertain Husbands— STUART — The ACWC met at the home of Mrs. Fred Zink for an all day meeting and to en tertain the ladies’ husbands on Thursday, January 10. A chicken dinner was served by the hostesses, Mrs. Nelle Stevens, Mrs. Mabel Hamerberg, Mrs. Mer rill Smith, Mrs. Ora Yarges, Mrs. Charles Sloan and Mrs. Fred Zink. Eighteen members were pres ent. A vote was made to donate $5 to the march of dimes. The husbands attended the John Hamik sale in the afternoon. The next meeting will be with Mrs. Ona Roth. County Represented at Entertainment — EWING—“Let’s Talk Turkey” featured a program at the Ameri can Legion club Monday evening, January 7. Fifty-seven guests were in at tendance. .
