FUTURE SUBSCRIBERS REVELL—Mr. and M^s. Wayne Revell, of Austin, Tex., a son, Glenn Douglas, weighing 6 pounds 12 ounces, bom on Tues day, December 11. This is the 10th grandson for Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Revell, of Star. They do not have a granddaughter. FOREE — Mr. and Mrs. Dade Foree, of O’Neill, a daughter, 0weighing 7 pounds 10 ounces, born Wednesday, December 19, in a Norfolk hospital. WEICHMAN — Mr. and Mrs. Charles Weichman, of Stuart, a son, Robert Charles, weighing 6 pounds 4 ounces, born Friday, December 21, at the Stuart Com munity hospital. RICKARD—Rev. and Mrs. Ce cil Rickard, of Spokane, Wash., a son, Randal Dean, born recently at Spokane. Mrs. Rickard is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Crellin, of Ewing. This is the sec ond grandson for the Crellins. HOAG—Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Hoag, of Ewing, a son, 3Mt months-old, which they adopted recently. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Saiser, of Ewing, are the grand parents. BERGSTROM—Mr. and Mrs. Max Bergstrom, of Newcastle, Wyo., a son, Lloyd William, born Thursrday, December 6. The ma ternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. LeKoy Cunningham, o f Page. EMME—Mr. and Mrs. Willard Emme, of Naper, a son, Arthur Dale, weighing 7 pounds, born Wednesday, December 12, at the Sacred Heart hospital, Lynch. The maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pritchett, of Lynch. HENDRICKS — Mr. and Mrs. George Hendricks, of Omaha, a daughter, weighing 5 pounds, born Monday, December 24. Mrs. Ruth Morgan is the maternal grandmother. PETER—Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Peter, of O’Neill, a son, John Jo seph, weighing 7 pounds 14 ounc es, born Saturday, December 22, at the O’Neill hospital. HALVERSON — Mr. and Mrs. Mike Halverson, of Bonesteel, S. D., a danughter, Debra Ann, weighing 7 pounds 6 ounces, born Monday. December 24, at the O’ Neill hospital. Frontier for printing! Prompt deliveries! SICK & INJURED O'NEILL—Mrs. Frank Valla, who suffered a hip injury in a fail about 2 weeks ago, is still con fined to her bed. . . Ogda Woods, a retired jeweler who lives at a hotel, Saturday was taken by am bulance to the O’Neill hospital. He had been ill several days. . . Mer lyn Shaw is suffering an infected knee. A baling hook struck him while moving hay. . . Mrs. F. A. O’Connell was called to Omaha Sunday evening as her brother was “seriously ill.” . . . Mrs. Ma bel Gatz, who is in the Immanuel hospital, Omaha, is “improving” following major surgery. . . . Mrs. Arnold Gehring became ill with virus pneumonia Wednes day. She is employed at Jacob son's. . . . Ambrose Biglin is con fined to his home with a leg ail ment. LYNCH—Mrs. Gordon Barta, of Redbird, is ill with pneumonia. . . . Duflne Mills still relies on a crutch but is “much improved.” . . . Jerry Loukota, of Gross, has been here to see doctors several times the past week due to a bad infection in his hand. . . . Harold Stewart is on the sick list. . . . Nordby Larsen is now in the Vet erans hospital, Lincoln. . . George Carter itf also a patient in the Veterans hospital, Lincoln. EWING— Mark Muff went to Savannah, Mo., on Saturday. His wife and father-in-law, George Jefferies, who are patients at the Savannah sanitarium, will be able to return home with him on Sunday. DELOIT— Jim Bartnk under went a minor operation on his eye Monday, December 18, in a Nor folk hospital. He had a recent accident. His condition is being reported as “good." AMELIA— Mr .and Mrs. Tom Thompson are both patients in the Burwell hospital. Mr. Thomp son expects to be released in a few days, but Mrs. Thompson will be there for some time. EMMET— Mrs. Joe Pongratz is “much improved.” She was re cently dismissed from the Stuart hospital after major surgery. INMAN— Leo Mossman, who has been a patient in the Veter ans hospital, Lincoln, has return ed to his home. Club Gathers 500 Coffee Labels— Victory Homemakers met at :he home of Mrs. John Babl on Wednesday, December 12, with a covered dish dinner. Three mem bers were absent. Roll call was a favorite Christmas song. We had an exchange of Christmas gifts. We had 500 coffee labels to send for children’s gifts. We gathered a trunk full of clothes to be sent to an Indian mission nnd also a quilt. Our next meet ing will be January 9 at the home of Mrs. George Pongratz. W. Johnston and family. Mrs. Johnston is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Heiss. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Dorr and daughter, of Cameron, Wise., came Saturday to visit for 2 weeks with their parents, Mr. j and Mrs. Henry Dorr, and Mr. and Mrs. M. G. French and other rel- j atives. Cpl. and Mrs. D. M. Stuart were calling on oid friends of Corporal Sluart at Page Saturday. They were on their honeymoon and were going to Washington, D.C., to visit Corporal Stuart’s sister, Mrs. Jack King. From there Cor£ poral Stuart will go to Porto Rico where he is stationed. Mrs. Stu art will return to Cozad. Corporal Stuart is the son of Mr. and Mrs. O. 13. Stuart, who formerly lived at Page. Dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Nissen were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Eby and family and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Nissen and family, of O'Neill, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Nissen and family and Mr. and Mrs. Lorenz Nissen and daughter, of Page. A luncheon was served by Mrs. Della Hallman, when 10 members of the Golden Rule extension club met Tuesday, December 18, for an annual Christmas party. A j grab bag exchange for both the members and children was held. Roll call was answered by giving hints concerning the wrapping of gifts. Mrs. Helen Asher had charge of the lesson on “Christmas Decoration in the Home.” The next meeting will be January 8 at the home of Mrs. Rose Heiss. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Harvey were hosts at a dinner Sunday. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Wood, of Centerville, S. D.; Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Wood and Noel, Mrs. Hester Edmisten, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Edmisten and son and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Asher and 2 daughters. Dinner guests Sunday at the Theodore Kemper home were Mr. and Mrs. George Winkler and children, of Tilden; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Kemper and Mark, of Norfolk, and Mr. and Mrs. Orville Kemper, of Page. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Terrill and laughter, of Hot Springs, S.D., :ame Friday for a short visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto rerrill, and family. They will spend Christmas with Mrs. Ter rill’s relatives at Lincoln and re urn to Page for another visit. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth McIntosh and family, of Tekamah, spent from Sunday until Monday with Mr. McIntosh’s mother, Mrs. Nel le McIntosh, and family. Miss Phyllis Shaul accompanied them to Grand Is land and will go to Harrisburg to visit her parents. Mr. and Mis. Jimmie Ballantyne returned home Friday fro rtf the Milford trade school to spend a 2-weeks' vacation at his home here. Miss Helen Wegman, a teacher in the Tilden school, is spending her vacation at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wegman. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Haynes and Miss Viola were Christmas day dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Haynes and family at O’Neill. H. L. Banta left for Long Pine Sunday afternoon to visit his mother. Mrs. Jess Roan. Otto Terrill drove to Milton vale, Kans., to bring his daughter, Joan, home to spend her vacation here, o Mrs. Anna Stole went to Battle Creex to spend Christmas with her children.
