The Holy Trinity Tro jans, avenging a 36-30 setback only a week before, capitalized ! on the gratis flips to sink the Cards—their first loss of the cam paign. The Trojans connected on 16 of 24 tries—a nifty .667 aver age—while the Cards failed in that department, connecting on only 8 of 23 attempts. The Cards journeyed over a long, hazardous road and there was an ominous note in the air that led to their disaster. The Trojans led 10-5 at the quarter gun, 18-10 at halftime, 26-18 at the 3d.
