Inman Tigers Scare
Clearwater Quint
INMAN—In a slow-moving and
deliberate game, the Inman high
Tigers gave the veteran Clearwa
ter team a scare Tuesday night,
December 11. Final score was 25
18, but the victory was not Clear
water’s until the final gun.
Clearwater’s versatile Barret,
who last season had a 20-point
per game average, was held to 7
points.
Harold Nielsen and Richard
Bohn tied for scoring honors for
the losers. Harlan Nielsen was a
bulwark on defense. D. Kelley
and R. Sprague showed that they
have designs for next year’s team
by doing their best job of the sea
son.

Page Eagles Hit
Inman Quint, 50-30
INMAN — Looking somewhat
less effective than they did a
gainst Clearwater earlier in the
week, the Inman high basketball
team was overpowered by Page
by a score of 50-30 Friday eve
ning.
The game resembled a football
bout in several respects because
it was an unusually rough game.
Luckily, no one was hurt serious
ly.
Inman threatened in the 3d
quarter as the Tigers closed the
gap to 5 points, but a sudden
surge of Eagle power plus the
loss of 2 Inman players via the
foul route squelched the valiant
bid by the Tigers.
