had his foot injured in a Jawn
mower 9 weeks ago, was able to

their granddaughter, Karen Sue,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William
Dterks. They returned home on

Karen Sue was “feeling better."

Ambrose, while his wife was in

improved” after being confined
to his home for several days. . .
Mrs. Mary Leverton, who has
been convalescing at the home
of her granddaughter, Mrs. Guy
Mulhair. was moved to the home
of her daughter, Mrs. Jonas John
son, at Spencer. Mrs. Leverton,
who is 90-years-old, has had a
broken hip. . . Mrs. Joe Kocian,
sr., was dismissed from the local
hospital and has returned to her
home in Spencer.

sen, who has been a patient in a

EWING—Mr. and Mrs. Theo
dore Schueth drove to Humphrey
on Wednesday, November 7, to
visit at the home of their son and
daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Leo Schueth, and family. On
Thursday, Mrs. Schueth and son,
Leo, went to Sioux City where
she had a physical checkup. Her
doctor pronounced her condition
“satisfactory.” They returned to
their home in Ewing on Satur
day. . . Riley Canaday, who has
been convalescing at the home of
his son, Harold Canaday, and
family at Page, was able to re
turn to his home in Ewing on
Friday. . . Mrs. Robert Pruden
and baby girl, “good”; Mrs. Ray

DELOIT— Verle Tuttle lost a
part of his thumb and other fin
gers were injured in a cornpick
er accident last week. He was
cleaning his machine when the
accident hapened.
