Meelinq Planned for Phone Betterment— A meeting for the purpose of outlining the procedure necessary to establish a rural telephone system with REA help will be held at the Holt county court house annex in O’Neill on Tues day. Devine. 65, a prominent Cheyenne, Wyo., den tist for the past 40 years, died on September j at Memorial hospi tal in Cheyenne, Wyo., after an extended illness. Doctor Devine was born in i Steator, 111., and received his sec-! ondary education there. He was ! graduated from the Creighton school of dentistry in 1909 and! practiced in O’Neill before mov- 1 ing to Cheyenne. He was one of the original! members of the Wyoming State! Dental society formed 35 years ago. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, fourth degree; the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and was an honorary life- J time member of the Elks lodge. ' Besides his wife, the former Mae Campbell, of O’Neill, Doctor Devine is survived by 4 children —Frank, of Oconto; Mrs. Betty Anknev, of Cody. Wyo.; and Jane and Joe Devine, both of Cheyenne.
