On Sunday, August 26, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fleming accompanied by their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Belmar, of Page, attended a family reunion of the Bonge family at Plainview. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fleming and her sister, Mrs. Dora Town send, of Page, attended the dedi cation of the new $30,000 Baptist church at Chambers on Sunday. This church was built in the memory of Miss Jennie Adams, who was sent as a missionary frotm the Baptist church to the Philip pine Islands, where she with 16 others were taken prisoners by the Japanese during World War II and was beheaded on Decem ber 29, 1943, by the enemy. At that time she was superintendent of the hospital at Hopewell. Mrs. Gene Strong and children, of ONeill, are guests at the home of her mother, Mrs. Eula Eppen bach. Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Mont gomery and son, Larry, moved to Royal on Saturday where Mr. Montgomery has employment on a farm. ("Mac") Ashers Going to Valentine— Mr. and Mrs. M. E. (“Mac”) * Asher will move to Valentine arior to September 17 when Mr. ^sher becomes a Consumers Public Power district employee there. The Ashers came to O’Neill 9 years ago. Until 1948 Mr. Asher was em ployed by Consumers, later oper ating an express and freight de livery service.
