Higher Cattle Receipts Forecast
• The cattle receipts in O'Neill today are expected to be sub
stantially up over the week before. There are several con
signments of mixed light heifers and steers, and of course the
usual run of butcher cattle. The heavy seasonal runs are just a
round the corner, and the managers of the O'Neill Market predict
exceedingly heavy runs. They say there are a lot of buyers each
Thursday at the O'Neill Market and in recent weeks there have /
not been enough cattle.
• The hog sale will see several hundred feeder pigs, all kinds
and sizes.
