n ( Church Ladies Meet— The Women’s association of the Presbyterian church met in the church parlors last Thursday at 2:30 p.m. Mrs. Felix Hendrich, vice - president, conducted the meeting. The program was given by the Westminister youth. Miss Verle Ralya gave devotions; Miss Priscilla Holsclaw gave a report of the youth synod, which she at tended at Hastings in June. Cody Medlen Takes Bride in Kansas CHAMBERS — Miss Jaculine Reichstein, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Reichstein, of Cowles, and Cody Medlen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Medlin, of Chambers, were united in marri age on July 16 at the Methodist church in Smith Center, Kans. They were attended by Miss Joan Stover and Franklin Perry, both of Red Cloud. They are making their home for the present at Chambers. Vacation at Estes Park— Mr. and Mrs. William J. Froe lich, sons William, James, and Charles, and daughter Mary, left Saturday morning for Estes park, Colo., with Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Birmingham and daughters, Lou ise and Marde.
