NATIONWIDE
LOCAL WINNER RECEIVES

CROCHET CONTEST RULES
1. All entries must have won a
special Nationwide Crochet Con
test ribbon at a participating
state, county or local Fair.
2. All entries must be crocheted
of mercerized crochet cotton.
3. All entries must have been
completed since January 1, 1951,
except in those cases where par
ticipating fairs are held prior to
April 1, 1951. In the latter case,
entries completed since July 1,
1950, are acceptable.
4. A contestant may submit as
many entries in the Nationwide
Crochet Contest as have fulfilled
ALL the foregoing rules.
5. The opinion of the national
judges is final in all cases, and
judgment will be determined on
general appearance, beauty of de
sign, workmanship and suitabil
ity. In case of a tie duplicate
prizes will be awarded.

Fair, will be awarded to the con
testant whose piece is adjudged
best of Fair, regardless of classi
fication. This lovely prize is of
fered by us in cooperation with
the National Needlecraft Bureau.
