Hillside Chapel Closes Sessions * CELIA— Twenty puoils were enrolled in the Hillside chapel Bible school last week. Margaret Hamill and Eloise Rustad were teachers. On Friday evening the pupils staged their closing program, which was given before a large crowd of parents and friends. A lunch was served at the close Other Celia News David Rahn is the owner of a new Case tractor. They brought it home Saturday and stopped during the noon rain and had dinner with the Joe Hendricks 4 family. ' Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Smitn and children arrived home on Thursday evening, June 21, from a 10-day visit at Charles City, la. Markita Hendricks has spent the past 2 weeks in Atkinson with Rev. and Mrs. Asa Woods. The first week Mrs. Woods took Markita and some qther children to O’Neill to attend the afternoon sessions of the camp meeting which were for the children. The past week she attended the Bible vacation school which was held in Wesleyan Methodist church. On Sunday night, June 24, they 1 gave their closing program. Duane Beck took hogs to O’ Neill for Emil Colfack Thursday, June 21. Mark Hendricks and sons, Rob ert and Leon, helped Joe Hend ricks vaccinate calves Wednes day, June 20. Mrs. O. A. Hammerberg ac companied Mrs. E. G. Hughes and Mrs. Lewis Humphrey to a WSCS meeting at Neligh June 19. Mr. and Mrs. D. F. Scott were Friday evening, June 22, supper guests at the P. W. * Kilmurry home. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Focken and children were Sunday eve ning, June 17, supper guests at the Gottlieb Braun home. Scott is enjoying a 2 weeks’ vacation at home. Mr. and Mrs. Omer Poynts, of Tulsa, Okla., arrived Thursday, June 21, in Atkinson at the home of her mother, Mrs, J. R. Jarvis, and went out to visit her daugh ter, Mrs. Mark Hendricks, and family on Friday, June 22. Frank Kilmurry nelped Einil Colfack remove a bone from the throat of one of the Colfack cut tie Monday evening, June 18. Clarence Focken helped the Emil Colfack family Friday, June 22. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Hendricks and family were Saturday visit ors at the Leonard Chaffin home. James Deming and son, Robert, were Monday evening, June 18, visitors at the O. A. Hammerberg home. Mr. and Mrs. Connie Frickel and daughter, Caroline, were Stuart visitors Friday, June 22. They also visited Reverend Graff and family. Thursday, June 21, Harry Mli nar, Ray Cearns and Robert Hendricks helped make a new hay stacker for Joe Hendricks. Sunday night, June 17, a big 4 inch rain caused the new west wall of the Ray Pease basement to collapse and a lot of water re mained in the basement for some time. Saturday, June 23, cement workers put it back in again.
