INMAN \ Sorensens on 5,000 Mile Western Trip PAGE — (Mr. and Mrs. Soren Sorensen, of Page, and Richard Orcutt and Miss Shirley Soren sen, of Ainsworth, returned to Page Wednesday night, June 13, after an almost 5,000-mile vaca tion trip. They left Page Sunday morn ing, June 3, going to Scottsbluff, Denver, Colo., and Salt Lake City, Utah. They traveled thro ugh Wyoming, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Oregon, and Washington. In Idaho they visited Mr. and Mrs. Ed Nettleman, of Sand Point. Mrs. Nettleman is a niece of Mrs. Sorensen. They visited the Millard Ick es family at Nampa, Ida., and with Mr. and Mrs. Plen Nickles, of Caldwell, Ida. The Earl Krakel family was seen at Mai sing, Ida., and at Genge, Wash., they visited Mr. Sorensen’s bro ther, John Sorensen; also Myr len Bader and family and 2 daughters of the Baders’, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Flora and Mr. and Mrs. Walker West and Lor en Bader and family, all of On alaska, Wash. They were dinner guests at noon of Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Copes. The Townsends lived on a farm northeast of Page before mov ing to Oregon several years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Cunningham and children, of York, brought Mrs. Cunningham’s mother, Mrs. Grace Grass, of Oregon, to the home of her son, Arthur Grass, and family for a visit. Mrs. Fred Gussman, of Lem mon, S.D.; Mrs. Mary Scrater burg, of North Dakota; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Edwards, of Orchard, and Mrs. Chauncey Everhart, of Orchard, and her daughter, Mrs. George Voorheis, of Elgin, visited at the home of Mrs. My rtle Coon Sunday afternoon. They had attended the Meuret family picnic at Atkinson. Mr. and Mrs. Alton Braddock and Jo Ann drove to Kearney Friday and from there accom panied by Mr. and Mrs. N. D. Mitchell and sons went to Al len’s park near Denver, Colo. They returned home Monday. The Mitchells formerly lived at Page when Mr. Mitchell was a teacher in the Page high school. Shirley and Sharon Park re turned to their home in Creigh ton Thursday after several days’ visit at the home of their grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Park. Mrs. Park, Genelle and Ronald and Mrs. iNeven Ickes, jr., accompanied them home to spend the day. Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Farnsworth left Tuesday, June 11, for Bad ger, la., where they will spend several days visiting Mr. Farns worth’s brother, Ambrose, and wife. They were joined there by another brother and wife, of Las Vegas, Nev. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Brownell spent Thursday night with Mr. Brownell’s brother-in-law and Lamason. They were returning to their home at Sidney after spending 3 weeks at Rochester, Minn., where Mr. Brownell was a patient in St. Mary’s hospital. Members of the Get-to-Gether club entertained the>r husbands at a progressive pitch party at the Legion hall Saturday eve ning in observance of father’s day. Miss Streeter Is Feted At Pre-Nuptial Shower— Mrs. Merritt Pierson and Mrs. Dean Streeter were hostesses Sunday, June 10, at the Clyde Streeter home at a miscellaneous shower in honor of Miss Barbara Streeter, who was married to Harold Huebert Tuesday, June 12. There were about 50 guests present. The house was decorated with garden flowers.
