Choral music during the mass was provided by Mr. and Mrs. Stout’s grandchildren, accompanied on the pipe organ by Sister \ M. Flores, of St. Mary’s academy. The papal blessing was bestowed on an O’ Neill couple, their 2 daughters and their hus bands Saturday in a unique triangular wedding anniversary celebration. The Stout-Froelich-Birm ingham special mass in which the 3 couples re newed their marriage vows was an exception. Photo was taken midway during ceremony with Very Rev. Max Karo, of Stuart, became the bride of James V. Seger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred L. Seger, of Stuart, at a double ring ceremony solemnized on Monday, June 4, in St. John’s Lutheran church in Atkinson. Mrs. Seger graduated from Stuart high school in 1949; Mr. Seger in 1950. Miss Jeanine Doolittle, daughter of Mrs. Elsie Doolittle, of Amelia, on Sunday, June 10, became the bride of Ivan Roth, of Atkinson. The couple is residing on the farm of the I bridegroom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Neubauer, 2 miles east of Page. — O’Neill Photo Co. Every other year the Babl family holds a re union. One brother and one sister are still living of the family of 6 children who came to Amer ica from Germany. Picture was taken at en trance of Knights of Columbus hall in Atkinson. There were 179 present plus 21 guests. Oldest, youngest and those who came from farthest distance to Babl family reunion Sunday in Atkinson are pictured. Alois Babl, 71, of Newport (left), and Mrs. Grace Wallinger, 81, of Stuart (with infant), are only 2 remaining mem bers of original Babl family. Sister M. Bere nice, of Milwaukee, Wise., and Sister M. Fran cita (right), of Omaha, came the greatest dis tance. Thp nuns are sisters of Mrs. Henry Schaaf. Construction Miracle in Downtown O’Neill Workmen have lost no time in construction of a new 22^-ft. x 72-ft. single - story business block on the south side of Douglas street, a quarter of a block east of the O’Neill center. A. Marcellus, well-known O’Neill automobile deal er, is owner of the building and is supervising construction. The building is constructed witn concrete blocks on the sides and rear and with a face brick front. Work has progressed so smoothly and rapidly that workmen showed this progress (above) in 10 days. In recent years the frame Elite cafe building occupied the lot.
