was repairing his car, had his
eye injured by a piece of spring
which broke off and hit him,
Sunday evening. He left Monday
for Norfolk where he remained
for medical attention.

PAGE—A volleyball tourna
ment for girls was held at the
Page high school gym Thursday
and Friday evening. It was an
invitational meet and teams came
from Atkinson, Brunswick, Cen
ter, Chambers, Clearwater and
Oakdale.
In the first rounds Thursday,
Chambers defeated Center, Clear
water defeated Oakdale, and
Page won from Brunswick.
In the finals Friday night,
Chambers defeated Page for first
place and Clearwater won from
Atkinson for third place.
