Ewing Girls Will Model Own Garments EWING—On Thursday after noon, March 8, at the Ewing •chooi auditorium, the three classes in homemaking of the Ewing high school will present their annual style show under the direction of Miss Donna Ru duiil. Each girl will model the gar ment she has made the year. The freshman girls have made pajamas and aprons. The sopho more girls have made skirts and the senior girls spring dresses. Each member of the class has invited her mother and a guest. Other Ewing News Mr. and Mrs. Edward Yelli are now located in the Pollock apartment north of the Eldorado theatre. Mrs. Waldo Davis spent Thurs day to Saturday in Orchard where she was a guest at the home of Mr. and Mil Homer Barton. Mrs. E. D. McDonald and son, Douglas, returned Wednesday, February 28, from Vermillion, S. D„ where they had been guests at the home of Major McDonald's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Mc Donald. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Jefferies and Bonnie Jo were guests on Sunday at the home of Mr. and ■Mrs. Wm. Wulf. On Friday, Miss Minnie Neide heide and Mrs. Lloyd Hixson, of Clearwater, were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Jef feries. Mr. and Mrs. Goo. Jefferies and Mrs. Wilma Daniels were O’ Neill visitors on Monday. Charles Bergstrom and Carl fihrad have enlisted in the army and left Tuesday for Omaha. Charles is the son of Mr. and Mrs. N. A. Chi Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. El mer Bergstrom and daughter, Kay, accompanied by his broth er, Lloyd Bergstrom, of New castle, Wyo., drove to Omaha to spend the day with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bergstrom. Mrs. Edith Black and grand daughter, Miss Jerrel Dean Black are now at their home in Ewing. Both have been employed at O’ Neill for the past several months. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Wunner left for their home in Chicago, 111., on Saturday after a 10-day vacation. While in Ewing they were guests at the heme of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Wun ner. The ladies of the Cleveland Aid worked on a quilt at the Charles Mulford home on Wed nesday and Thursday, February 28 and March 1. They are quilt ing a quilt for Mrs. Z. X. Mar shall, of Stuart, proceeds to go into the Aid treasury. The lay men of the Cleveland church worked at the church on Thurs day, March 1, putting plaster board on one of the Sunday school rooms. Eastern t t Plans Banquet Tonight— The Za r„ star chapter is holding a banquet this evening (Thursday) at 6:30 at the Metho dist church. Mrs. Clara Marks, of Ord, supervisor of this dis trict, will be present. She will give a school of instruction in the af ternoon. Mrs. Harry Peterson, worthy matron, held a luncheon at her home in honor of Mrs. Marks and the officers of the local chap ter. A chapter meeting in regu .ar form is being held this eve ning. Virginia Walker Is 3-Years-Old— Virginia Lea Walker, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Walk er, celebrated her third birth day anniversary at a party at her home.
