It is the duty of each taxpayer to see that their schedule is made out and returned to the county as sessor. I have been appointed to hellp the citi zens of O’Neill to fill out their schedules. Beginning March 1 3th, I will be at the Buiclc garage, north of the First National Bank, from 8 till 6. Don’t put it off till the last day for you may be unable to get help. H. W. TOMLINSON, Deputy Assessor ON TIME. What’s the quickest way to put across that you will be on hand at a certain hour and minute? The telephone, naturally. But you don’t expect to pay extra for being able to flash an important message to a friend. And you don’t pay more—you pay only what the call costs to provide. AHEAD OF TIME. To take care of the many people who now want telephone service, we must build new plant. This takes money.Where does it come from? From people willing to risk their savings in a busi ness enterprise. They are willing to do so only if the telephone bill you pay includes a profit. In vestors always look at what their money may earn before they put it to work — and this is the money we need to pay for improvements and growth. The telephone company must make enough to keep healthy, sound, and in key with demand. NORTHWESTERN BELL TKLIPHONK COMPANY RlftWT WHIN I NllO IT MOIT.THC MOT WATRR.
