The business meeting was conducted by the president, Mrs. Ray Beed. She told the club about the coun cil meeting she attended in O’ Neill and also the letter from the state president. The club voted to purchase another U.S. history book for use in the club. A legislative i chairman was appointed. j A music period, directed by r * * jl .* * > Mrs. C. V. Robertson, was held. The leaders, Mrs. Paul Roth and Mrs. Herman Cook, gave the lesson on "Sleep and Sleep Equipment.” Lunch was served by the hos tess. The next meeting will be at the home of Mrs. C. V. Rob ertson. 'The Church Year' Lesson Topic— CHAMBERS—The Ladies Aid of St. Paul’s Lutheran church met on Thursday, February 8, at the church basement. Eigh teeen members answered roil call. The president, Mrs. H. C. Wal ter, conducted the business ses sion at which time it was voted to send $15 to the old peoples’ home in Omaha. Three boxes were packed for boys in college. The devotional service opened with a song and a scripture read ing. Rev. C. D. Ankney gave the lesson on "The Church Year”.
