Thursday, December 28: Ladies Aid Society meets at the home of Mrs. Boyd Boelter, 2. Visitors are welcome to all our services and activities. Once more we have stepped into the charmed season of Christmas. Throughout the world wherever the name of Christ is known Christian people are gathering to celebrate the birth day of their Lord and Savior and King. Songs of praise and carols of joy are echoing and re-echoing In millions of hearts and homes. For in these glad hours the eyes | of untold millions are fixed on that marvelous manger where lies the Christ, “the Star of our life and Hope of our eternity.’’ All of history will never be able to fathom the full signifi cance of the Christmas story. For thousands of years mankind had groaned under the lash of the prince of darkness, spiritually without help or hope, unless ran somed by the Pnaee of Life Him self. And then suddenly on that first Christmas night the heavens were torn asunder with the en thralling message of the angel: “Unto you is born a Savior.’’ The ransom had arrived! The love of God, which sent a divine Redeemer to rescue lost humanity, is the theme of the Christian world at Christmas. For those who in childlike faith accept the Christ of Christ mas as their personal Savior and Redeemer, Christmas spells the difference between an eternity in hell and a glorious eternity before the throne of God in hea ven. That is the thrill of Christmas. Will you have a share in the spir itual joy of this season? If you hcve no church home, this is your invitation to join us in our worship of the infant Savior. “O come, let us adore Him, Christ, the Lord.’’ COMMUNITY (Stuart) Rev.
