the Page WSCS and King's
Daughters.
The speaker of the afternoon
was Miss Kathryn Newcomb, of
the National College for Christian
Workers at Kansas City, Mo. She
told of the school for women
training for all kinds of school
work. After going to the base
ment she showed different pic
tures of the college and campus.
There were 80 ladies in all that
attended. Luncheon was served by
the WSCS and King’s Daughters
members of Page.

town hall in Chambers Friday
evening, October 26, with the
president, Herman Holcomb, in
charge of the meeting.
Mr. James, of the Bell Tele
phone company, was present to
discuss the building of a new
line.
The vote on whether or not to
build the line was a tie.

at her home Tuesday, October 24.
