The speaker of the afternoon was Miss Kathryn Newcomb, of the National College for Christian Workers at Kansas City, Mo. She told of the school for women training for all kinds of school work. After going to the base ment she showed different pic tures of the college and campus. There were 80 ladies in all that attended. Luncheon was served by the WSCS and King’s Daughters members of Page. From there they drove to Norfolk to leave their daughter, Jeannene, who went on to Wayne where she attends school.
