WULF — Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wulf. pf Ewing, formerly of the Deloit community, a daughter, born Monday, September 25. CROTTY—Mr. and Mrs. Har lan Crotty, of Omaha, a son, born Sunday, September 24, in Omaha. The Crottys are known at Deloit. They have another child—a daughter. LUEBBERS — Mr. and Mrs. George Luebbers, of Osmond, a son, weighing 8 pounds, bom Saturday, September 30. Mrs. Luebbers is the former Evelyn Nissen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Nissen, of Page. WAGNER—Mr .and Mrs. Rob ert Wagner, of Holidaysburg, Pa., a son, Michael Calvin, weighing 5 pounds 6V6 ounces, born Tuesday, September 26. Mrs. Wagner was formerly Lu ella Crandall, daughter of Mrs. Louise Crandall, of Chambers. PICKERING —Mr. and Mrs. Claude Pickering, of Redbird, a daughter, born Sunday, Septem ber 24, at Sacred Heart hospital at Lynch. DROBNY—Mr. and Mrs. Mar vin Drobny, of Walnut, a daugh ter, born Monday, September 25, at the Sacred Heart hospital at Lynch. . KREBS—Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Krebs, of Omaha, a daughter, Kathleen Ann, weighing 8 pounds, born Sunday, Septem ber 17. Mrs. Krebs is the former Anna Tingle, of Butte. LARSEN—Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Larsen, of Sioux City, a daugh ter, Catherine Ann, bom Sat urday, September 16. Mrs. Lar sen is the former Georgia Beck ner, iormeriy of Bristow. Mrs. Lon Beckner, of Winside, is the gTeat-grandmother. GERBER — Rev. and Mrs. Ralph Gerber, of O’Neill, a daughter, Kathryn Lee, born Thursday, September 28, at the O’Neill hospital. MILLER—Mr. and Mrs. Mar vin Miller, of O’Neill, a son, Thomas Golden, weighing IVz pounds, born Friday, Septem ber 29, at the O’Neill hospital. HOERL.E—Mr. and Mrs. Ed win Hoerle, of Ewing, a daugh ter, born Thursday, September 28, at the O’Neill hospital. SICK & INJURED PAGE—Mrs. Alton Braddock, Mrs. J. I. Gray and Mrs. M. G. French drove to Sioux City on Wednesday, September 27, where Mrs. Braddock went for a checkup on her knee that was operated on recently. . . . While Mr. and Mrs. William Sorensen, of Ainsworth, were visiting at Page Sunday, they received word Mrs. Sorensen’s father, J. M. Kennedy, also of Ainsworth, who was on a hunting trip in Wyoming, had suffered an acute attack of appendicitis and was to submit to an operation. Mrs. J. M. Kenhedy and sons were leaving immfediAtely for Wyom ing. The Kennedys were former residents of Page vicinity. . . . Jesse Kelly had the misfortune to have his knee cap knocked out of place. LYNCH — Mrs. Katie Vras pir, of Monowi, is a patient at Our Ladv of Lourdes hospital in Norfolk . . . Marlene, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs- Ed ward Streit, has the measles this week . . . Mrs. Er/iest Sixta has been on the sick list . . . James Fernen, the rural route carrier out of Bristow, is “much improved” after several weeks of sickness due to a heart ail ment . . Mrs. Ed Johns is “much improved,’’ at having suffered with a bad carbucle on her shoulder. O’NEILL — Mrs. Ella Karr, who has been ill, is “improving” at the home of her son, Roy, of Spencer. . . . James W. Rooney is still confined to his home with a back ailment . . . Mrs. Walter O’Malley is ‘‘getting a long fine" in St. Vincent’s hos ptial in Sioux City. . . . George Brainard went to Norfolk Sun day, September 24, to get his wife. She is "getting along fine.” INMAN — Otto Retke, who has been a patient at St. Joseph’s hospital in Sioux City the past ! 10 days, submitted to a major j operation on Thursday, Septem ber 28. He is “doing nicely.” Mrs. Retke went to Sioux City Thursday and spend a few days With Mr. Retke. CHAMBERS—Mrs. Paul Lid gett received painful injuries last Thursday when the horse team with which she was raking hay became frightened and ran away. Her foot became tangled In the lines and she was dragged quite a distance. AMELIA — Mr. and Mrs. John Mohr and children return ed home from Chicago, 111., the latter part of <the week. Mrs. Mohr’s mother, Mrs. Stanek. who became ill and was taken to the Bassett hospital while they were away, is reported ! “improved.” REDBIRD—Mrs. Nick Baker suffered a heart attack Thurs- , day night, September 28, while attending the farewell party for Mr. and Mrs. Pete More. A doc tor frcyn Lynch was summoned. She wil be confined to her bed for several days. Omaha Holy Name Crushes Ewing, 42-0 EWING—Omaha Holy Name romped over Ewing Friday night, 42-0. Dennis McGuire started the Holy Name drive with an 80 yard return to score on the op ening kickoff. Bud Spelts passed for 3 touch downs connecting to teammates Maly (twice) and Kalkowski. Two extra points also were added on aerials from Bjornsen to Maly and Maly to Spelts. Bjornsen scored on a 30-yard run for Lynch’s other touch down. Dallas scored in the second on a pass from Lang to Parker.
