Lois Dobrovolny Becomes a Bride On Tuesday, September 26, Miss Lois Dobrovolny became the bride of Duane Beck at First Presbyterian church in O’Neill. The single - ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Ralph Gerger at 3 o’clock. Th bride appeared in a grey gabardine suit with winter pink Snd matching grey accessories, er corsage was of pink asters. The bridegroom wore a grey gabardine business suit with a white carnation boutonniere. Her bridesmaid was her sis ter, Delores Dobrovolny. She wore a melon colored suit with grey accessories. Her corsage was white asters. The bridegroom was attend ed by his cousin, Dale Mlinar. He wore a dark blue gabardine business suit with a white car nation boutonniere. Following the wedding the bridal party was entertained at a small reception held at Slat’s cjptfe. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dobrovol ny, who live on a ranch 16 miles southwest of Atkinson. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Beck, of Atkin son. Mrs. Beck was a graduate of the Atkinson public school in 1948. For the past year she has been employed at the William Froelich residence in O’Neill. Mr. Beck was a graduate of the Atkinson public school in 1943. He served 2 years in the armed forces. After a wedding trip to the Black Hills the young couple will reside on the Beck farm 11 miles north of Atkinson. i^ociety to Meet— St. Patrick’s Altar society will hold a regular meeting on Thursday, October 5, in the * Knights of Columbus club rooms. It began with a dress parade in the morning with the following characters: Raymond Sprague, “the moth er with a baby”; Bobby Davis, “hula dancer”; Jeanne Scholz, “a cow girl”; Neva Walton, “a fisherman”; Yvonne Smith, “a football player.” A dance was held Friday eve ning with square dances, circle two-steps, and schottisches en joyed as much as the popular — .. . * --- steps.
