proved” after a severe sickness
at the home of her daughter,
Mrs. Chris Jensen, of Oakdale.
. . . Mrs. Ben Nelson, northwest
of Lynch, was painfully burned
about her face and arms when
leaking gas exploded as she
started to light a fire. Doctors
dressed the burns and she is
“doing well.”

to spend the weekend at the
home of his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Lee Spittler. Richard Spitt
ler, who has been a surgical pa
tient at Lutheran hospital in

man, who recently returned to
Ogden, Utah, after spending
the summer vacation with
homefolks, had the misfortune
to fall while attending a teach
ers’ meeting. She sustained a
broken vertebra and will be in
a cast for some time.

Malley fell and broke her hip
last Thursday. She lay on the
kitchen floor for nearly 3 hours
before anyone came to summon
help. Mrs. O’Malley was taken
to a Sioux City hospital in a
Biglin Bros, ambulance. . . .
Rosalie Hogancamp, 12, daugh
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hogan
camp, was taken' to the Method- j
ist hospital in Sioux City Friday
for treatment.
AMELIA — Mr. and Mrs.
Ralph Barnes went to Omaha
Saturday, returning Sunday.
They brought their infant
daughter, Cheryl Rae, home.,

caused by falling on a stick
that ran into the back of his
throat. Larry is the son of Mr.

was rushed to an Omaha hospi
tal Monday.
