Mother and baby departed Mon day for their home. KOPECKY — Mr. and Mrs Lewis Kopecky, jr., of Inman, a son, Richard Ralph, weighing 8 pounds 4 ounces, born at 10:43 p. m. Sunday, September 3, in a Norfolk hospital. Birth was by Caesarian section. Condi tion of mother is “satisfactory” and that of the baby is “good”. Wilson and family and Mr. and Mrs. Archie Cleveland were Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tams. Glen Ri hanek, who is an accident case in the Lutheran hospital at Nor folk, is “good.” . . . Mrs. Jake Neiman, of Lynch, is “much im proved” after a severe sickness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Chris Jensen, of Oakdale. . . . Mrs. Ben Nelson, northwest of Lynch, was painfully burned about her face and arms when leaking gas exploded as she started to light a fire. Doctors dressed the burns and she is “doing well.” EWING— Mr. and Mrs. Leo Spittler, of Omaha, came Friday to spend the weekend at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Spittler. Richard Spitt ler, who has been a surgical pa tient at Lutheran hospital in Omaha, accompanied them home. . . . Miss Laura Zimmer man, who recently returned to Ogden, Utah, after spending the summer vacation with homefolks, had the misfortune to fall while attending a teach ers’ meeting. Mrs- Alton Brad dock returned home Sunday from St. Joseph’s hospital at Sioux City, where she had been a patient following an opera tion on an injured knee^ . . . Mrs. Bert Finley, who has been confined to her home for the past IV2 weeks because of ill ness, is “improving.’’ O’NEILL — Mrs. Walter O’ Malley fell and broke her hip last Thursday. She lay on the kitchen floor for nearly 3 hours before anyone came to summon help. Mrs. O’Malley was taken to a Sioux City hospital in a Biglin Bros, ambulance. . . . Rosalie Hogancamp, 12, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hogan camp, was taken' to the Method- j ist hospital in Sioux City Friday for treatment. AMELIA — Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Barnes went to Omaha Saturday, returning Sunday. They brought their infant daughter, Cheryl Rae, home., She had bee nin a hospital un til she gained sufficient weight to come home. NORTH OF STUART — Mas ter Larry Allyn has been suf fering with a severe sore throat caused by falling on a stick that ran into the back of his throat. Larry is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Allyn. ATKINSON— David Everett Lee, 14%-pound infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis D. Lee, was rushed to an Omaha hospi tal Monday. DELOIT—Jim Hupp, of Oma ha, recently underwent an op eration. . . Maurice Hupp had a similar experience recently. CHAMBERS — Victor Mik kelson returned Friday from the O’Neill hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Allen and family returned Sunday from a trip to Dale, 111. They j report having a very good time | and that there has been many changes in the old home town since Mr. Allen last visited 17 yeare ago. Gatil Boies took Mrs Rose Bauer to Grand Island on Friday where she left by tram for Delta, Utah, to visit at the home of a sister, Mrs. L e e Nutsch.
