Golden, Jaszkowiak Again Into Finals For the 6th straight year M. J. Golden and A. P. Jaszkow iak meet in the finals of the city golf tournament. Golden has won 3 times and Jaszkow iak twice. They will tee off a bout 1 o’clock Sunday. Both men had close matches in the semifinals. Golden beat Ben Grady 2-up after being 2-down earlier in the match. Jaszkowiak beat Red DeWitt 1 up after be ing 1-down with 2 holes to go. H. J. Lohaus and Joe McCarville will meet in the consolation championship finals. The second flight finds 2 new men in the finals. Marv Miller, O’Neill high school football coach and a portside hitter, will meet Jack Everett, a newcomer to O’Neill, in the finals. This match will be played earlier in the week. Miller beat Hammond and Everett bested Dale French to meet in the finals. Dr. F. J. Fisher meets the winner of the Kersenbrock-McK.ee match in the second flight consolation fi nals. The third flight also brings 2 new young golfers together. Berl Damkroger, teacher, meets Ted Lindberg, an outstanding high school basketbull player, in the finals. Both men have been playing only 2 years. Dam kroger took R. Community-wide Event Planned NORTH OF STUART — The Cleveland Clackers Project club are planning a community good time to be held at the Cleveland church basement on Thursday evening, August 31.
