Priest Expires
LYNCH—Word was received
by Lynch people of the death of
Rev. D. Renner, of Primrose,
at the St. Joseph hospital in
Omaha Tuesday, August 15.
Father Renner was pastor of
the Assumption B. V. M, church
at Lynch in the early 1940s.
Mrs. T. B. Olson
Dies Near Fairfax
LYNCH—Funeral services for
Mrs. F. B. Olson, of Bristow,
were held Wednesday, August
16, at the Lutheran church, of
Baker, north of Spencer, with
Rev. Sabin Swenson, of Wausa,
in charge.
Mrs. Olson was born in Swe
den in 1865. In 1886 she came to
America to Saunders county,
Nebraska. She was married in
1889. They lived in Omaha,
Gregory, S. D., Bloomfield and
at Bristow.
Last December Mrs. Olson be
came bedfast and the Olsons
moved to the home of their
daughter, Mrs. John Kaiser,
near Fairfax, S. D.
Survivors are the widower, 4
sons, 2 daughters, 1 brother and
1 sister.

club held a meeting Friday. Au
gust 18, at the home of Mrs.
Verle David at Inman. Eight
members and 4 visitors were
present. The lesson on “Time’s
| Awasting” was presented by
Mrs. Chas. Grimes. The presi
dent. Mrs. Guais Wintermote,
conducted the business meet
ing. Refrehments of ice cream,
cake and ice tea were served
by the hostess.

at a double ring ceremony at 7
p. m. Monday, August 14, at the
Methodist church here.
Matron of honor was Mrs.
Charles Johnson and brides
maids were Alberta Sedivy, of
Spencer, and Mariam Hartigan,
of Mt. Vernon, 111.
Morton Beach, of Oakdale*,
was bestman and ushers were
Charles Johnson, of O'Neill,
and Darrel Kinnan, of Oakdale.
The altar was decorated with
candles and mixed flowers and
gladioluses.
The bride’s gown was of white
slipper - satin made princess
style with silk lace insertion
edging each side of the panel
which was decorated at the
sweetheart neckline with white
satin calla lilies. The sleeves were
full length and came to a point
over the wrists. The floor leng
th skirt ended in a train.
Kay Hartigan was flower girl
and Eugene Hartigan was ring
bearer.
A reception was held im
mediately after the ceremony
and the bride’s table, was'decor
ated with a 3-tier wedding cake
and flowers.
