SCHAAF—Mr. and Mrs. Ray mond Schaaf, of Emmet, a son, weighing 8V2 pounds, born Fri day, July 21. The Schaafs have 2 other children. COYLE—Mr. and Mrs. Miles Coyle, of Evanston, 111., former ly of O’Neill, a son, Patrick Miles, born Wednesday, June 28, at Evanston. This is their second child. JUNGBLUTH—Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick Jungbluth, of Cham bers, a son, Charles W’llliam, born Saturday, July 22, in Luth eran hospital at Norfolk. He is a great - grandson of August Schroeder, of O’Neill. KAUP—Mr. and Mrs. WiKred Kaup, of Stuart, a son, born Monday, July 17, at the Stuart Community hospital. CARR—Mr. and Mrs. Russell Carr, of Lake Jackson, Tex., a son, born Monday, July 10, weighing 7 pounds 4 ounces. They now have 2 sons. Mr. Carr was born and reared in Bris tow and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charley Carr, of Bristow. LEWIS—Mr. and Mrs. Evan Lewis, of Sp encer, a daughter, weighing 8 pounds 12 ounces, born Monday, July 17, at the Sacred Heart hospital at Lynch. MILLER—Mr. and Mrs Ken neth Miller, of Mitchell, a daughter, born Thursday, July 13. Mrs. Miller is a former Lynchite, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mulhair, jr. COURTNEY — Mr. and Mrs. George Courtney, of Lynch, a daughter, born Tuesday, July 18, at the Sacred Heart hospital at Lynch. The little miss has been named Carolyn Kay. Mrs. Courtney is the former Deloros France and they have 3 other children. JOHRING — Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Johring, of Spencer, a daughter, born Monday, July 17, at the Sacred Heart hospital at Lynch. BOES—Mr. and Mrs. Ed Boes, of Butte, a son, born Monday, July 10, at the Gregroy, S. D., hospital. Mrs. Boes is the for mer Violet Mayer, of Naper. JONES— Mr. and Mrs. Leon ("Jack”) Jones, of Chambers, a daughter, bom Saturday, Julj 22, at the O’Neill hospital. GILG — Mr. and Mrs. Fran cis Gilg, of O’Neill, a son, Jer ome, weighing 8 pounds, born Saturday, July 22, at O’Neill hospital. CULHANE — Mr. and Mrs Leo Culhane, of O'Neill, a son, Weighing 74* pounds, born Wednesday, July 26, at O’Neill hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schmit, accompanied by Mrs. Lod Janousek, drove to Lincoln Sunday where they were ac companied home by Mr. Janou sek, who has been in the Veter ans’ hospital for the past 3 months. Mr. Janousek, who un 1 derwent an operation, is “much improved” . . . Justin Butterfield who was rushed to the Metho dist hospital in Omaha Friday, July 14, and was operated on Saturday, July 15, is “getting | better ”, He had a peioe of steel in his eye He was supposed to have returned home but his eye liecame infected. His wife went down to be with him . . . Judge J. J. Harrington is in an Omaha hospital for an operation . . . Miss Veronica Coyne had an operation on her knee Wednes day, July 19, at St Catherine’s hospital in Omaha. . . . Rose Ann Underwood returned Sunday. July 23, from Our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Norfolk where she had undergone sur gery. ATKINSON— Charles Chace and sister, Mrs. Willard Linville, visited their father, R. E. Chace, at St. Vincent’s hospital in Sioux City Sunday, July 23. Mr. Chace is “much improved” and his wife, who has been stay ing with him, returned home with Charles Sunday evening. .. William Marsoun had an .op eration for ulcers last week at Mayo Bros, in Rochester, Minn. He is getting along “nicely.” . . . Delores Karo returned from a hospital at Norfolk where she spent 6 days because of injuries received in a car accident. . . . STAR—Earl Miller, 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Miller, submitted to an appendectomy recently at the Lutheran hos pital in Sioux City. He return ed home Monday.
