Child, 3, Di«*r 111 Short Time Alice Faye Kilcoin, small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Kilcoin, was born Oc tober 26, 1946, and following an illness of 2 weeks passed away July 11, 1950 at the age of 3 years, 8 months and 16 days. She is survived by: parents; 5 brothers — George, Ralph, John, James, and Jerry; 3 sis ters — Mary Louise, ALma Jean, and Shirley Ann. SICK & INJURED O’NEILL — Mrs. Joseph Schollmeyer, who was in a re cent automobile accident and is a patient in a Sioux City hospi tal, was operated on July 7. She is suffering from a skull fracture. She was transfered from a Sioux City hospital to the O’Neill hospital Sunday . . . Hugh Coyne is improved after submitting to sur gery in a Chicago, 111., hospital He returned to O’Neill recently and resumed work at the Coyne Hardware on Monday . . . “Grandpa” Wytaske is “quite ill” this week . . . Mrs. Jacox is the former Johanna Engelhaupt, who taught in the O’Neill schools. H. J. Lohaus and C. J. Gatz attended a Ford dealers’ meet ing in Omaha Tuesday. Saturday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph. Stowell visited Mr. and Mrs Carl Lorenz. Tuesday evening guests were Mr. and Mrs. Herman J. Janzing. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Heather ington and 2 children, of Lin coln, who had visited relatives in Long Pine Sunday, stopped in to sea L. A. Simonson and other relatives. Sgt. and Mrs. Thomas H. Preston and son, arrived from Columbus, Ga., to visit her mother, Mrs. Marie McDonald. Sergeant Preston will be leav ing for overseas and Mrs. Pres ton and son will remain here. Mrs. William Eirich, of De troit, Mich., who had gone to see her husband in San Fran cisco, Calif., before he sailed for Korea, returned Saturday. She had missed him by a very short time- She is the grand daughter of the O. A. Kilpat ricks. She will make her home in Orchard with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hill until her husband returns. Little Donna and Lynda Rog gasch, of Dix, who have been visiting their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Elgin Ray, for 10 days, left far Ainsworth t® vis it their grandparents, the H. F. Waites. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan C. Pruss and family attended a reunion of Mrs. Pruss’ family in Early, la. They remained for 4 days and returned Tuesday, July 11. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Kopp and I daughter, Carol Jean, of Early, I la., who had been on a trip West, were guests of Mrs. Kopp’s brother-in-law and sis ter, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan C. Pruss, from last Thursday until Satur day.
