The 190 to 230 pound butch ers soli from $22.50 to an ex treme top of $22.85; 230 to 260 pound butchers, $22.25 to $22.50; 260 to 280 pounders, $21.50 to $22.25; 280 to 300 pounders, $20.76 to $21.50; 300 to 350 pounders, $20.25 to $20.75; 350 pounders and heavier, $20 down. Light sows ranged from $19.75 to $22, depending upon their condition; heavy sows, 300 pounds and up, sold from $19.75 on down; extra heavy sows, weighing 500 pounds and over, brought $17, while stags cleared from $13 to $16. Light yearling steers of good quality brought $28 to $30; light yearling heifers, $26 to $28: canner cows, $16.50 to $18; fat grass cows, $19 to $21, also depending upon their condition.
