3 Rural Teachers Are Reelected DELOIT — Three rural teach ers in this locality have been reelected for the 1950-'51 term. They are; Patricia Funk. Wuif school; Max me Bauer, Deloit school; i Lois Lucas, Lucas school. Other Deloit News Mr. and Mrs. John Hupp spent Thursday, June 15, in Neligh. Otto Reimer visited relatives over the June 17-18 weekend. Mrs. Hertle and family were dinner guests at R. Tomjack's reecntly. Ralph Mooney and Betty Tomkins, of Calloway, were married at Calloway on May 28. Ralph is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mooney of this community Mr. and Mrs. Mark Maben spent Sunday, June 18, at the W E. Wulf home in Ewing. Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Hupp and Betty Lou, of Omaha, spent the June 17-18 weekend at the home of Ferdie Hupp, jr. Mclntire, financial rep resentative for the Nebraska Children’s Home society, is now in Holt county to carry on the annual solicitation for the so ciety in this county. The work of this agency which was chartered way back in 1893 for the care and placement of normal children is well-known in Holt county. “The rehabilitation the socie ty has accomplished with some of our neglected children has been remarkable and some mighty fine youngsters have been adopted by Holt county folks,” Mr. Mclntire explained.
