She died 2 days earlier in the Lutheran hospital at Norfolk following a long ill ness. I Margie Sammons Is Shower Honoree AMELIA — Miss Margie Ann Sammons was guest-of-honor at a prenuptial shower given Saturday, June 17, at the home of Mrs. Lee Gilman. There were about 75 adults present. Program consisted of 2 songs by Phyllis and Nancy Watson. A mock wedding was staged ' in which Sandra Gilman took the part of the bridegroom; Joan Adair, the bride; Zoellyn Gilman, the minister; Judy Tay- j lor, the ringbearer. Thir teen members were present. Our president, Charlotte McVav, called the meeting to order. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. We discussed the 4-H camp at Long Pine. Some plan to attend. The Clearwater 4-H baby beef show was talked about and our leader, C. E. McVay, would like to have us take some calves to that show. Several indicated they would take their calves. We did very well at the Clear water show in 1949. Meeting ad journed after which we judged calves. Mrs. Wood and Mrs. Larson served a lunch of sandwiches, pickles, fruit salad, cake, coffee and cold drinks. The next meeting will be a picnic on Dry Creek in Wieher’s pasture on July 15 1950.
