Five hundred and five head
of hogs and 140 head of cattle
were sold at the Thursday, June
1, sale held at the O’Neill Live
stock Market.
Top butchers brought from

chers selling on down to $18.
Feeder pigs, which are in
very good demand, cleared from
$6 to $16, per head.

Grimes.

ated the first of the week from '
the university at Bozeman,
Mont., where he completed a
course in civil engineering. Af

at Elgin, Lincoln and Omaha,
they plan to go to Bismark, N
D , where he will be employed
with the bureau of reclamation.
He is a nephew of E. R. Car
penter.

Winner, S. D., Sunday, June 4,
to visit their brother and wife,

May 20 from a month’s visit at
her childhood home at Marion,
Ky. She accompanied a neph
ew and wife, of California, who
were enroute there. She visited
a brother and a 6ister and other
