Farnsworth and daugh ter, Mrs. Carl Max and daugh ter, Marilyn, returned home Monday afternoon, May 9, from Badger, la., where they had spent the weekend with Mr. Farnsworth’s brother, A. H. Farnsworth, and wife. Carolyn Max stayed with her grand mother, Mrs E. H. Farnsworth during her mother’s absence. Nebraska law provides that anyone under 21 is subject to a fine up to $50 if he misrepresents his age in order to purchase alcohol beverages. Likewise, anyone who buys alcohol beverages to give to minors is subject to a similar fine. Nebraska retailers want 100 percent observance of the “No Sale To Minors” law, and they welcome every aid to that end. “Sworn Statements of Age” blanks, furnished free by the brewing industry, are used 'effectively by many retailers in doubtful cases. Aid your retailer by: 1— never asking him to sell beer contrary to law. 2— not objecting when he in sists that you supply proof of age. Encourage him to always operate his place legally and in the public interest.
