ward Soukup. Luncheon was

Ed Walker returned to his
home in Page after a lengthy
visit with his children at Nor
folk. Lincoln and Denver, Colo.,
He spent several days with his
daughter, Mrs. Anthony Craig,
and family at Norfolk. He re
ports that Mr. Craig is getting
about on crutches. His mother,
Mrs W. W. Morris, and Mr.
Morris, of Huntington Park,
Calif., are with them.
The Finley families observed
Mother’s day this year by a
meeting at the James Finley
home for a no-host dinner.
Those present were: the par
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Finley,
Mr. and Mrs- Leland Finley and
family, Mr. and Mrs. Vernie
Finley and family, Mr. and Mrs.
Jerome Allen and children, and
Mr. and Mrs. Gailen Miller and

The Golden Rule project club
held a regular meeting at
fhe home of Mrs. R V Crumb
ley Tuesday, May 10. Fourteen
members were present. Mrs.

to be sent to the international
children’s emergency fund to
aid relief for European child
ren. Parliamentary Law is Good
Manners in Your Club, was pre
sented by A. V. Crumbley The
club sang several songs planned
by their song leader. Luncheon
was served. Next meeting will
be held with Mrs. William Fink
June 13.
Mrs. Elsie Cork went to O’- i
Neill May 12. On Saturday she
went to Spencer to spend a few
days’ with her son, Harold Cork
and family.
