The Willing Worker’s 4-H
club met at the home of Perry
and Larry Dawes on Saturday,
May 6.
Six of our members were pre
sent, and John Rotherham was
taken in as a new member.
The meeting was opened by
our president, Eugene Janzing.
We had a lesson on ‘‘4-H Gar
den for Health.” We learned
which vegetable and fruit con
tained vitamins. A, and C.
We had a judging lesson on
an apple and garden hoes.
* Perry Dawes gave a demon
stration on how to care for a
garden hoe.
We sang 3 club songs and
Mrs. Dawes served a lunch.
Our next meeting will be
held at the home of Merle

met at the home of Roland Han
sen. Reports were given on 4-H
fun night. Project discussions
were in five different groups.
The parents were present and
all members were there. No new
members are reported as yet.
Everyone brought sandwiches
and caks. Mrs. Hansen served
coffee and soft drinks.
Our next meeting is at the
home of Kay Coventry. We are
to see about getting the IOOF
