On Easter we celebrate the anni
versary of Christ’s triumph over
death. The Resurrection of Christ
is the central event of all history.
Our Lord’s Resurrection is the
most glorious event in His life, the
most conclusive proof of His Di
vinity and the foundation of our
faith. In describing Easter the
Church borrows the words of the
Psalmist of retelling the coming of
Christ. This is the day which the
Lord hath made, let us rejoice and
be glad in it. May the Risen Savior
grant all in the community the
treasured blessing of a Joyous
Easter!
