It won’t be long until Easter and spring will just have to be In the air one of these days. When your thoughts turn to furnishing the new or old spring wardrobe don’t forget that touches of white pique are very smart these days, either on your dress or hat. So you may be able to bring up - to - date your older dresses, sweat ers and so on by adding new sets of collars and cuffs, belts and such.' Keep them spotless—that’s the word! If you can’t afford an assort- j ment of costume jewelry you won’t go wrong on a pearl chok ■ er, lapel pin and earrings. Pearls are good for women of any age and they’re very smart right now. Also, they will go well with almost any type of cos tume. Incidentally, if you are one of those people always losing your gloves, you may now purchase a clip which fastens your gloves safely to the outside of your purse. You can’t lose them, yet they lend enchantment to your costume after you take them off. Nothing is more useless than one glove—unless it's one stocking with no match or one shoe! An extra pair of gloves is a , good investment in good groom ing. Get the kind that can be laundered easily and you can keep a fresh pair washed out and ready to wear. Launder them with the same care that you keep your nylons laundered.
