Reports 16 Inches Snow in Portland AMELIA — Sam Gilman ar rived in Amelia from Portland, K Ore., Monday. He reports about f* 16 inches of snow in that city. Mr. Gilman said the city’s water system had been “frozen up’’ and the inconvience creat ed considerable concern. Port land, he said, had been experi I encing some unusual weather.
