The hog market was good and i teady throughout the sale. The bulk of the butchers brought $1(5 85 to $17.10 with a top of $17.25 on several consignments. The bulk of the packing sows brought $12.50 to $13.75. Stags cleared around $9. | Cattle consignments were of I all kinds. The cattle market was lower compared with the February 2 sale on light calves and yearlings. The good kind of steer calves cleared from $22 to $25 with the plain kinds bringing down to $20. Good cows sold from $15 to $16.50 with a few at $17. Good stock cows sold by the head from $185 to $213. Fred McNally and Mrs. Mc Nally. of North Platte, are vis iting Mr. and Mrs. Dick Tom linson. Arthur Oberding Renamed President SANDCREEK — The annual meeting of the Sandcreek-Cleve land telephone Line was held at the Herbert Sweet home on Fri day evening, Febuary 10. Arthur Obering was reelect ed president, and Herbert Sweet was named treasurer. Linford Sweet was elected Lineman for the coming year.
