I afraid not from Crofton or from
the Hays Days celebration. Yes,
Burwell proved to be a lot of
fun except for that tired, aching
feeling (?)—especially for those
ghost story-tellers on the bus
coming home. No peace.

Center extension club met Fri
day afternoon, August 12, at

man. Seven members and
four visitors were present.
The lesson, presented by Mrs.
Guais Winlermote, was on the
subject “Nebraska Looks at
Her Schools.”
During the business session,
a round table discussion was
conducted on the subject ol
“Compulsory Healty Insurance.”
Refreshments of pie a-la
mode and ice tea were served
by the hostess.

home talent radio show. They

Saturday night there will be a
band concert and I’m warning
you, if the band lived through
this week they’ll live througn
anything.
