She reports that her brother, Ed Mullen, is “somewhat improved” after1 being seriously ill. . . Lawren ce Slaymaker, of Atkinson, is in an Omaha hospital follow ing a major surgery Saturday, August 6. His condition is “fair”. . . Mrs. Ren Kroupa has been removed to the home of her mother in Pierce from Our Lady of Lourdes in Nor folk. Her condition is still con sidered serious. . . Pauline Bausch is in Our Lady of Lourdes in Norfolk following major surgery. CHAMBERS — Mrs. LeRoy! j Holcomb was taken to the' Kearney hospital Thursday, j August 4. . . Kay Eisenhauer I underwent an operation for appendicitis at the Lutheran hospital in Norfolk last week . . . Janis Jarman is a patient at the Our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Norfolk. . . Mrs. Glen Haylar and Infant daugh ter came home from the Lut heran hospital at Norfolk last Thursday. . . H. L. S m i t h drove to Omha Friday to get his wife, who has been in the hospital there.
