Wiblemo, of Fairfax, did it a
gam. Unofficially, he has two

appeared to be better with local
fans saying that it’s too early in
the season to pick a winner.

North - Central league were
played Sunday. After the dust
cleared, and the bases picked
up, Elgin was the only unde
feated team in the loop.
It was evident that most of
the teams had their “baseball
legs” this round
Stiffer competition will un
doubtedly l>e seen with suc
ceeding rounds, most observers
say.

Undefeated in League—
ELGIN — In winning from
Niobrara, 9-4, Sunday. Elgin
remained the only undefeated
team in league play.
Sunday’s win made it the
fourth in league play for El
gin while Niobrara has been
able to win only one in four
starts.
The winning pitcher, Yocum,
collected three strikeouts,
while Whipple and E. Breeze
totaled seven.
