le Andersen, youngest daugh
ter of Alfred Andersen, of At
kinson, and Allen R, Wentz, only
son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Wentz, of Scotland. S. D., were
united in marriage on Monday,
June 6, at 3 o’clock in the First
Presbyterian manse at O’Neill.
Rev. Ralph Gerber, of O’Neill
performed the single-ring cere
mony.
The bride’s dress was a pale
blue suit-dress with pink-and
white accessories. Her corsage
was of pink roses.
The bridegroom was dressed
in a tan-striped suit and he wore
a white carnation bouttoniere.
The bride was attended by
her only sister. Mrs. Charles (Al
pha) Kirkland, of Atkinson,
whose dress was navy blue. She
wore a corsage of pink carna
tions.
The bridegroom’s attendant
was Leland Andersen, of At
kinson, youngest brother of the
bride. His suit was gray and
his boutonniere was a white
carnation.
Mrs. Wentz is a graduate of
Atkinson high school with the
class of 1943. Until she was cal
led home by the fatal illness of
her mother, she was employed
in the Scotland bakery at Scot
land, S. D.
After graduation from high
school in Scotland, Mr. Wentz
entered the navy where he serv
ed for three years. He is now
employed as a baker in the Scot
land bakery.

Charles Kirkland, Mr. and Mrs.
Leland Andersen, all of At
kinson, and Rev. Ralph Gerber
and family, of O’Neill.
After a short wedding trip to
Lincoln and other points in Ne
braska, the young couple will
reside at Scotland.

products demonstrated.
