seme of the marriage of Miss
Mary Ann Shald, daughter of
Mi and Mrs. John Shald, and
Eu 3ene Hoffman, son ol Mr.
and Mrs. W. N. Hoffman. The
double - ring ceremony took
place on Wednesday, June 1,
at 9 a. m. before a peony-dec
orated altar with Rev. A. J.
Paschang officiating.
The bride appeared in a
white satin gown accented by
a sweetheart neckline, a fitted
bodice, and long sleeves which
tapered to points over the
hands. The full skirt, which
was trimmed with lace insets,
ended in a chapel-length train.
A beaded tiara caught her fi'..
ger tip veil. She carried an
arm bouquet of white gladio
lus.
Miss Jaunita Kaup, maid-of
honcr, and Miss Margie Hoff
man. bridesmaid, wore match
ing gowns of blue-and-pink
shadow organdy over taffeta
fashioned with sweetheart
necklines, puff sleeves and full |
circular skirts. Their gowns .
were complemented with large
matching picture hats and
their bouquets were of bache- |
lor buttons.

Shald acted as his attendants.
They wore brown business
suits Paul Shald and Bill Hy
trek were ushers.
Immediately following the
ceremony a dinner was served
to the wedding party and
members of their families.
Reverend Paschang was also a
guesd
The young couple left on a
* short wedding trip after which
they will be at home on a
farm Southwest of Stuart.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Hoffman
are graduates of Stuart high
school Mr. Hoffman is a vet- j
eran of World War II. having
served 24 months in the Army,
18 of which were spent over
seas.

Mr. and Mrs. C. V. Robert
son drove to Parker and other
places in South Dakota last
week to look at cattle. Not
finding what they wanted,
they drove on to Clinton,
Minn., where they purchased a
nice purebred Hereford bull.
Mr. Robertson and Charles
Spath left Saturday by truck
to get him.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Edward
and family; Mr. and Mrs. Ray-,
mond Edward, of Cushing; Mr.
and Mrs. Allen Edwards and
