Both choirs will practice on Wednesday evening—the jun ior choir at 7 and the senior choir at 8. The number at Sunday school by the junior choir Sunday morning was greatly enjoyed. Schmidt, of O.Neill, is serving with fleet aircraft ser vice squadron 106 based at the Naval air station at Argentia, Newfoundland. The unit has a n operational background that ranges from the Carib bean to the North Atlantic. The squadron is currently providing maintenance and shop support for patrol squad ron 7 at the Argentia base. Aside from routine duties, the squadron is often called upon to perform special mis sions. Recently, when a Greek merchantman ran aground in the Straits of Belle Isle and exploded, the squadron assist ed the Coast Guard by trans porting patients to the hospit al at St. Johns, Newfoundland, usings its Skymaster plane.
