O’Neill, Nebraska, at his of
fice until 8:00 p. m. April 30,
1948, and at that time pub-1'C
ly opened and read for the fur
nishing of all labor and elec
trical equipment for the com
plete installation of electrical
apparatus for a 180,000 Watt
combination electrically light
ed football and baseball field.
Bids must be accompanied
by a certified check in the
amount of $500.00 payable to
the City Treasurer as a guar
antee that bidder if successful,
will execute contract.
Specifications and bidding
blanks may be inspected at the
City Clerk’s office.
The City reserves the right
to waive informalities and ir
regularities and make awards
on bids which furnish the ma
terial that will in their opin
ion serve the best interests of
the City, or to reject any or all
bids.
The City Engineer’s estimate
of the cost of such improve
ment is $6,000.00.

vacation in the office of the
Register of Deeds of the Coun
ty of Holt and State of Ne
braska.
Be it ordained by the Mayor
and Council of* the City of O’
Neill, Nebraska;
1. That the alley running
north and south across Block
B in Goldens Subdivision of
Blocks A and B, and the North
Half of Block D in Fahys Sec
ond Addition to O’Neill, Ne
braska, and which such alley
is bordered on the West by
Lots 5 and 12, and on the East
by Lots 1, 2, 3, 4. 13, 14, 15,
16, 17, and 18 of said Block B,
which alley runs through and
disects said Block B, be, and
the same hereby is vacated, an
nulled and discontinued.
2. That a record of the va
cation of the aforesaid alley be
entered in the records of the
City of O’Neill, Nebraska.
3. That a certified copy of
this ordinance shall be furnish
ed to the Register of Deeds of
Holt County, Nebraska, and the
