The first fire, at the T. E. Newhouse place, was thought to have started by a spark from the tractor. The one at the Zuelka farm may have been caused by a spark from ^ a chimney. Origin of the blaze at William Ermer’s is un known but probably was start-* ed by a spark from a tractor. The Chambers fire depart ment was called. No serious damage was done.
